I bought this box as a response to a Tevalo campaign:

automatic SCART switch

I need one because the TV only has two inputs in the back and I currently need to connect a computer, the DigiTV receiver and a DVD player.
Initial tests gave me an entirely unusable picture. Methinks there’s a need to spend more – on a proper SCART cable. Then we’ll see if it’s the box or the DVD’s cable which I used for the test. In the worst case, I’m left with a spare cable, though 🙂 Assuming they accept the return of the switch.

The box is of Chinese origin, like everything else these days. The manual is not really English, although understandable when one has prior knowledge of how to use something like this.

Update: Hmm, perhaps I don’t belong to the ones that know how to use it 🙂 The picture from the DVD is fine, but the signal from the Amino set top box gets garbled – sound is audible, but with terrible buzzing; the picture has a pink cast and is compressed vertically.
